Customer Terms of Service

Version 1.0 · Last updated 29 June 2026

These Terms of Service apply when you browse, register or place an order on TrolleyTribe. By using the platform you agree to these terms.

1. About TrolleyTribe

TrolleyTribe is an online marketplace connecting you with independent shops and food businesses across the UK. When you buy, your contract for the goods is with the vendor, while TrolleyTribe facilitates discovery, checkout and (where applicable) delivery.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate registration details and keep your account secure.

You must be 18 or over to buy age-restricted products, and we may carry out age verification at delivery.

3. Placing an order

Adding items to your basket and paying creates an order. The vendor confirms and prepares your order, and you will receive updates on its status.

Occasionally an item may be out of stock after ordering. In that case the vendor will offer a substitution or refund for the affected item.

4. Prices, payment and delivery

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery fees and any free-delivery thresholds are shown at checkout.

Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.

Delivery times are estimates. We aim for same-day or scheduled delivery depending on your city and the vendor.

5. Your rights and cancellations

You have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 for goods that are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose.

Perishable and made-to-order goods are generally exempt from the standard 14-day cooling-off cancellation right, but you remain protected if something is wrong with your order.

See our Returns & Refunds Policy for full details.

6. Acceptable use

Use the platform lawfully and respectfully. Do not misuse the service, attempt to defraud vendors, or post unlawful content in reviews.

7. Liability

TrolleyTribe is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything that cannot be excluded under UK law.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

This document is a working template provided for transparency. TrolleyTribe recommends that vendors and customers seek independent legal advice where appropriate. Final commercial terms may be refined following review by a qualified UK solicitor.
