Seller Terms & Conditions
Version 1.0 · Last updated 29 June 2026
These Seller Terms & Conditions sit alongside the Vendor Marketplace Agreement and set out the practical, day-to-day rules for selling on TrolleyTribe. Where these terms conflict with the Vendor Agreement, the Vendor Agreement takes precedence.
1. Account and access
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your vendor account.
Only authorised members of your business should access the vendor dashboard. Notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorised access.
2. Listing standards
Product titles, descriptions, prices, weights and images must be accurate and not misleading.
Allergen and ingredient information must be complete for all food products. Images should represent the actual product the customer will receive.
You must not manipulate search, reviews or ratings, or list the same product multiple times to gain unfair visibility.
3. Pricing and availability
You set your own prices. Prices must be inclusive of VAT where applicable and clearly stated.
Keep stock levels and availability accurate. Mark items unavailable rather than letting customers order what you cannot fulfil.
4. Order handling
Accept and prepare orders promptly within the times shown in your dashboard.
Communicate proactively about substitutions or delays. Substitutions should only be made with the customer’s consent where possible.
Package goods safely, maintaining the cold chain for chilled and frozen items.
5. Returns, refunds and complaints
Handle customer issues fairly and in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Faulty, damaged, mis-described or unsafe goods must be refunded or replaced.
Respond to customer messages and complaints within a reasonable time, normally within 1–2 business days.
6. Prohibited conduct
Do not attempt to take transactions off-platform to avoid fees, harvest customer data for unrelated marketing, or contact customers for purposes beyond fulfilling their order.
Do not list prohibited, unsafe, counterfeit or age-restricted goods without the proper controls.
Do not engage in discriminatory, abusive or fraudulent behaviour.
7. Reviews and reputation
Customer reviews are independent. You may respond professionally but must not offer incentives for positive reviews or pressure customers to remove negative ones.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these Seller Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through your dashboard or by email, and continued selling after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
This document is a working template provided for transparency. TrolleyTribe recommends that vendors and customers seek independent legal advice where appropriate. Final commercial terms may be refined following review by a qualified UK solicitor.
